Natural Food Stores and Certified Green Restaurants Equal Healthier Eating in Cleveland

If you are a flower child and were taught to buy all natural foods, which included weekly trips to the health food store, farmer’s markets and whole food co-ops, then you really know the benefits of shopping at natural food stores. However, if your parents weren’t hippies and you just want to incorporate healthier eating habits by shopping bulk whole foods and patronizing local markets, you can also benefit.

Cleveland farmers markets are doing well this year, as far as sales and repeat customers, and many hope that this will encourage others to buy from local farms to can and preserve fresh food for the winter months, just as our grandparents did. Another store is doing quite well despite high unemployment rates and fuel prices, Nature’s Bin in Lakewood.
