Dollar General is Beneficial for Upper Middle Class

I shop Dollar General for most of my non-food items: toilet paper, shampoos, soaps, personal hygiene items, batteries, dog food & treats. I even some non perishable items such as canned food, crackers, muffin & cookie mixes, cereal and so forth. I figure I save about $20-$40 from the traditional grocery store.

So I as was sitting in my car this afternoon, sipping my Green tea ($1.25), I noticed a VW Jetta back into a parking space and enter the Dollar General store with his girlfriend (I suppose). This of course made me chuckle.

A young man who drives a Jetta shopping at Dollar General, I wonder what they were shopping for?

So, Dollar General doesn’t just attract low income or those on a fixed income, they truly do serve all income brackets. Although I don’t think those in Hollywood or people making more than a half million dollars, shop the store, but I could be wrong.
