I celebrated my 39th birthday this week. It was hectic and didn’t start out well, but it ended as a great night.
I am blessed with friends who have connections. I was able to barter a limo for 4 hours to celebrate the last of my 30s. It was great to feel classy and like a celebrity. My son and former girlfriend along with the only other three people I know where I live drank, toasted and cruised through the streets of Cleveland.
The best birthday gift I received this year (besides the 4 inches of snow) was the gift of friendship. Simple gifts are the ones I cherish the most.
